Hi from GeordieLand (Newcastle upon Tyne)
« on: 02 February 2017, 12:23:44 AM »
Hi, old man returning to the hobby.

In the past have played ACW,Fantasy Battles, flames of war and early blood bowl. Now getting into Dreadball and Project Z. Not a lover of GW stuff because of cost, let's face it our hobby is a money pit at the best of times. Though I do understand GWs appeal.

Anyway from a family that likes to game, minatures and board all played regularly at home even some card games get played.

Well that's all for now, looking forward to chucking in my two pennies worth now and then.

Cheers

Welcome Jimmy. We are also a boardgame family. Risk, Ticket To Ride, Cargo Noir, Lost Cities, Monopoly are the ones we play most.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Our family plays board games too.  We are creating a dice game with our army men, tanks etc, and do battles.  We keep it simple so our 4 year old can play too!
