Excellent.

There were rumours that the Churchill was the last joint model and hence Italeri's last 1/56 model.

Tamiya makes a JS-II in 1/48 ( I use 1/48 and 1/50 scale vehicles with my SOTR 1949 armies. Personal preference. Not trying to stir that debate again!)  lol

I agree on the turret swap Ballardian, shouldn't be a difficult project.

UVS - it's 1/56, I noticed it in a pic from the Nuremberg fair a couple of days ago (see below) - I assume it's in co-op with WG.
(In the wide shot you can see some other interesting stuff - 1/56 Matilda II, a Sevomente & another Italian tank  - possibly an M13/14/15 - would make sense as they could use some common parts, An 88mm flak 36 with crew & an Alte 250.)
Fatroc - I imagine making the turrets interchangable wouldn't be too hard.
I note what looks like a Churchill in Welly boots and exposed track, the small stuff at the back in the right is I guess the Italian stuff, but is that the Matilda at the front in sand and brown? I at first thought it was a Churchill.

UVS - there are a pair of Matildas on the right of the picture - in the diorama along with the 250 & an 88.
Sorry that I can't blow the pic up any more - I lifted it from themodellingnews.com coverage of the Nuremburg fair. Here's a cropped version to show the Matildas.

I had not looked any further right than the 88 on the table.

Thanks.

Whoops! Sadly the Matildas, 88, & probably the Semovente/M14 are from Italeris 1/72 range (my excuse is that they're in the cabinet with a big 1/56 sign underneath - that'll teach me for having hope & dreams :'(. At least the IS II is a 1/56 release.
Secondly, my apologies to Harleyface for this thread hijack - won't do it again (should it look like spooling off like that again I'll create another thread).

The kickstarter continues to roll along. It is roughly $600 shy of unlocking the Sherman Mech. The add-on deals are impressive. They are offering a "Team Commanche" for 20 GBPs. It includes one each of the HMG, the bazooka, and flamethrower armed versions. That's a great deal.

That should have said $1600.

Do they have a render of the Sherman?

There is a render up & so far they've indicated their final appearence pretty accurately (there's also a StuG mech on offer now - if they reach the funding, though there'e only a silhouette up).

I like the Sherman Mech. I think I would replace the 75mm cannon barrels the longer 76mm cannon barrels. Interested in seeing what the Stug Mech really looks like.

The ks is about $870.00 from unlocking the Sherman Mech. Can't wait to get a better look at it. Hopefully they will show a little more information on the Stug Mech.

Excellent! Can't wait until they update the page to see what new add-ons will be available. The deals for the back catalog are pretty cool too. Hopefully, there will be some more information on the Stug Mech since it is the next goal. I asked Andy Cooper in the comments section of the ks if they had considered offering a generic Mech conversion bits pack (basic weapon options, etc.). He responded that he would look into it. Nothing definite, but a positive response. Definitely excited by this project overall.
