40mm WW2?

Do any companies make 40mm figures for World War II?

Not that I know of,  although some 28s are so huge they may as well be 40mm. If you like larger WW2,  54mm is very nice.

try searching for 1/48 - Northstar do Projekt X -whilst at Northstar check out Scarab - Richard 'woody' Ansell's outstanding range of WW2 figures (about 36mm in height).
Also all the issues that accompany 28mm-1/56 in regards size, scale etc also apply to 40mm ;-)

Like Redzed says, there are plenty of excellent 1/48 models out there (Dragon, Tamiya etc) - they're a little shorter than 40mm, but the ranges are fairly comprehensive (plus vehicles of course).
