Well then! Not completely finished, but close enough, and finally leaving the "lump of stuff to be ashamed of"-stage, so I thought I´d show some pics.
The castle is constructed from cardboard, foamboard, styrofoam, balsa wood, corrugated card, and two cast doors. All roofs except for the wall roofs are removable, as are the outer wall sections of the triple building opposed to the Donjon, which itself is mere "looks", ie not playable, in order to reduce the number of "distractions" (ie floors on which the Commandos might lose themselves...

I´m still working on a pedestal, a wooden bridge and a guard post, as well as some interior decor and the scenario objectives.
The castle measures some 90x40cm/36x18" and has been left blank of too "period-specific" ornaments to allow it to be used in a variety of settings (me being a Zenda fan for some decades now...

). In this case, I´ll add some separate building (currently considering a chapel) to cover the burn marks.
