Good to see you back Michael

As hard as life tries to pull me away, it still feels good to come back. Happy people like the writing, was hoping to get some games in but the current situation is obviously slowing that down.

I am guessing the funky looking gun is a anti-drone guns of some kind.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Back with a double header of posts this weekend!

First up, Spectre have some new releases based off the last preview (and congrats to Commissar Moody for guessing what that funky looking gun was). There is also a Halloween special which is... interesting and only available until Monday!

It's on the site at https://www.hntdaab.co.uk/blog/2020/10/30/news-spectre-halloween-releases/

We also have a new news post covering Anthalonica Wargaming, who are bringing an interesting set of 28mm Modern Police and Western Civilians to the market. They are still in the greens and masters stage, but it's looking good!.

I am at a point where I have written of spectre. While the miniatures are outstanding their stock levels are so laughable everything is out of stock more or less permanently.

Shame the ARV's haven't got crayons and a pot of hair gel to share amongst themselves.

Wonder if there will be a tactical debrief set, or a set on unarmed to do the paperwork/take prisoners to custody.

I must admit, I was very lucky in getting in early before they got big. That said, I think they have realised how screwed it was (the plan to take resin production in house was catastrophic for quality and stock level) and have taken the time to slowly bring stuff back up. So I've put my order in for the new stuff and we'll see how it goes.

If the models were even slightly worse, then my patience wouldn't be at this level.

The Mini Mouse headed model would go great with The Joker's Crew from the Suicide Squad boxed game from Knight Models.

Like Zombie I have written off Spectre now, either they want to be a grown up miniatures company with decent stock levels and some kind of release programme or just another backroom project abusing peoples faith.

Surprise, I'm back and painting. With my Delta (which I previewed last month and forgot to write up theposts having arrived last weekend, I've got to work getting them painted up. Here are the first four.

Also new, I've put Geek Gaming's Base Ready Scenics on the base. This is the Arid Grassland stuff and I'm really happy with it - which means I have to go back and do it for the other 543+ painted figures in the collection, not to mention all the other stuff waiting to be painted.
