age of sigmar stormcasts army painting, work in progress
« on: 12 February 2017, 10:27:59 PM »
Here's what kept me from historical and "indie" modelling these last months   lol

A never ending warhammer end of sigmar project. i finally met some wargaming guys locally, but they were playing this game so...I had to build an army to play (but hoping to slowly bring them on the indie and historical wargaming dark -or maybe bright?- side of the force, of course  8)). It literraly took me ages (of sigmar) to complete this 1000points force.

I still have to finish a few characters, and I will be free, finally, to come back on "serious" historical modelling, wich is, surprisingly, a way more fun than painting fantasy mass battle 28mm ultra detailled figures   lol

I will make daylight pics once the 3 last miniatures completed. But I'm happy to finally touch the end of this quite boring project, to be honest (I will probably not paint gold again before a looooong time....  ;D)

Many thanks, guys ! After a long term (and not always fun) painting project like this, I'm happy to share this with you !

I'll post action pics when  I'll finish the 3 heroes and "dog" remaining, with good light pic and scenery.

By the way, the stormcasts army bases are made to be similar to the terrain set I quickly built (between 2 clients projects, I believe it took me 2 week ends, including a 3 parts 6'x4' board, some home made trees elements ,and some ruins made from old heroscape bits) especially for the game (sturdy but light and easy to carry to the game center when I play age of sigmar) :

cheers

I really don't like those models... but you certainly do a nice job with them!  I agree with previous commenters that the wings in particular are very striking.
