(Commercial) Village terrain stocked by Crooked Dice
« on: March 09, 2017, 01:58:36 PM »
Out and about roving the the village? Looking for somewhere to host a giant chess match or park your mini-moke? Then the Gloriette is a perfect terrain centrepiece for your retro skirmish games (£24.99). Every village needs one, if you can get the planning permission…

Arriving somewhere new? Just use the handy Infomat to help navigate your way around or help agents track down their target. Who need GPS or hand-held devices like old fashioned maps when you have the futuristic wonder of the Infomat (£3.99).

These two MDF kits are produced by Pigeon Guard Games and seemed a nice complement to this month's Retired Spy release.

Why is the water for the pool higher than the surrounding wall? :? And is the Gloriette supposed to be a mansion or a gateway? Why not put the brick pattern on the bare bit of MDF? :?

This is the real thing in Portmeirion.  The back wall is plain plaster.  As with all of Clough Williams-Ellis's folly, it has no real function.
Back from the dead, almost.

It's very much a perfect model of the real Gloriette. Prisoner show fans get it; I'll post pics of my painted Gloriette in a bit!
