15mm Teutonic Order - All done this far!

After painting 28mm miniatures for a long time, I finally got frustrated how much time it takes to paint an army to at least decent tabletop standard. After looking at alternative scales 15mm looked the best for me, the miniatures are small but still pretty detailed and sharp. The best part is still that i can get whole army for under 50€!

All the figures are from Black Hat Miniatures, mainly from their Feudal range. I have always liked the looks of the Teutonic Order, but painting all that white in 28mm isn't that tempting. Currently my army consists of 2 units of knights and spearmen. Later they will be accompanied by crossbowmen on foot or mounted.
They are intended to play with Lion Rampant rules.

Here are the first 2 painted units. Bases not yet done though.

Wow lovely work.

I hear you about painting smaller stuff. I like 28mm figures but painting a whole army takes a long time. 15mm is pretty quick and achievable.

Everything painted and based! Now I just need to order some more... 

2 units of knights and spearmen, should be pretty solid base for the army. Still needs some ranged support.


Army general and musician. Third figure on general's base still needs a banner.


Second unit of spearmen. Flag is hand painted, simple but I like it.
