A few weeks ago I picked up a copy of Osprey Adventures "Dwarf Warfare". I quite enjoyed reading it and there are some fantastic plates, the bit that caught me the most was the part about Dwarven Monster Hunters, they are descrbied as small units of dwarves who specialize in fighting large creatures.

This got me thinking about putting together my only little unit of specialists for either games of Adv. Song of Blades and Heroes or as part of a Dragon Rampant/Warhammer/God of Battles/Kings of War/Whatever fantasy I can get a game of games. So I did a bit of digging around in the lead mountain, had a quick trawl on eBay and made a little order to Ral Partha Europe and here are the results so far:

Great stuff - I love that Asgard dwarf in particular, but you've done them all proud!

What a lovely little group. The painting is fantastic, but the miniatures really do it for me. The 2 blokes with the giant boar spear - just brilliant.
