A return to an old love: painting Clanwar NEW: Mantis Clan

After a many years break I somehow came back to painting and purchasing Clanwar miniatures I was so fond of when they hit the shelves back in 1999.
With the help of some LAF'lers who sold me some stuff from their collections I more or less worked the last 12 months on this project.
Here are the first few pictures of some Dragon Clan Samurai.

I love it.  I dragged out my nearly 20 year old Crane army the other day to use in Dragon Rampant....

I am actually planning to use them fpor a WHFB Nippon army.
Just some special troops were missing, but the Dragon Empire Kickstarter will help to fill that gap with a few temple dog cavalry, a bolt thrower, a dragon rider and a lady on a koi fish
