Well thanks for lumping me in with some pretty amazing company.  I'm happy just to be nominated . . . lol
The amount of work, love, and research all these models demonstrate is unbelievable.  I follow all the same people, here and on instagram.  Yes I'll admit it, I am a painted miniature stalker.

Ockman, you have inspired me a lot as well!

That's why this site is so awesome and dangerous.  SO many wonderful models, scales, and themes.  Sci fi is so dangerous, too many movies.  I find it hard to focus.

Aw dude, cheers - glad you've picked that pic too, it's a good'un! Glad you've included Mason too, I agree - his terrain is super inspirational, I love what he does with small boards.

My life philosophy is that if you like or enjoy something or someone, it's better to tell people about it. It makes the world a better place. And I do really enjoy your stuff!

It is hard to focus, I ordered a lot of stuff from GZG before Christmas and had a plan for what to do. Then I saw Tales from Farpoint's Governor General's security force, GZG CDF troops in yellow and black uniform and I thought "I've got to copy that. Now!". (But I wont, since I haven't touched my latest GZG shipment).

And Michael, you deserve to be lumped in with the others!

Of course I didn't include everyone that deserved to be included in my last post. So here comes two more!

Do you like my colony terrain? Thank @tmcllghn on instagram for the inspiration! He made me realize that I could do something useful with my Mad Mecha Guy containers, else than use them as random containers.

How could I forget Dr De'Ath?

Wonderful paintjobs, amazing terrain, lovely AARs and best of all: learning me to broaden my view of what can be used when building and modelling 15mm!

Love that thread - as a devout fan of black base edges, that thread often makes me consider thin steel bases...

Many thanks for the plug, I really must get back to Sandport some time, still got a box of part made buildings to finish.

I'd love to see more of Sandport, I hope you'll return soon to it!

Although I'm with Jagannath on the black lined bases: if one - like I - got multiple boards (city: grey, badlands: brown, inside: grey-ish?) black edges work unifying, I think.

Thanks for the mention, sir, it is much appreciated.
 :D

Glad you like the planned alterations of Upsheet Creek to a sci-fi colony.
Work on the first actual building 'mod' is slowly taking place on the 'Build Something' board.
It is here, if you are interested:  http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=106264.0

As for inspiration, there are many people on here who inspire me and a list would be a hard thing to manage as I would certainly forget to add someone, I reckon.
I did start a thread some years ago for people to list their favourite three threads for inspiration and it has some seriously good nominations on it now...well worth a look:    http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=78365.0

Your entry in Build Something looks very promising, but there's so much great stuff you have done.

The problem with these kinds of posts is that you can't name everyone. There are people inspiring me that I won't try to emulate. Stroezie makes wonderful things, but I won't go 6mm, no matter how amazing I find his things, the same with the_baron http://returntologansworld.blogspot.se/. It's the same with 28mm, loads of inspiring persons (everything Crooked Dice does, for example), but nothing that I will use or steal... I haven't named zrunelord, but I find his stuff amazing ...apparently I get inspired by loads and loads of people.

So true Ockman my friend, & sharing or helping others is the cherry on the cake.

Thanks, I think you're doing amazing stuff zrunelord!

I had some time tonight and decided to clean and base some minis. I thought I would be able to clean minis, glue to bases, use filler and glue sand on the bases, but I only had time for step one and two.

Still I managed to clean and glue 68 minis and one mech!

Pictured below is my all female mercenary group, no name or theme yet:

That's a cool little group you've assembled there.
That Ion Age battlesuit looks brutal.

How about calling them "Hell's Furies" and going for an ash grey and fiery orange paint job...       ...or just do your own thing that you do so well  ;)

I look forward to seeing where you take them.

Cheers,
Stroezie.
