Cool, perfect your Frontier town!  I like the ashphalt roof!

Thanks, I made this just as a fast build, but I liked how it turned out!
This one won't be seen in my frontier town, though (it's based grey and my frontier town is based brown  ;))

Like the back story - the building's pretty cool too  lol

Thanks Dr De'Ath! I like my story crafting as much as my terrain building!

I finally have enough scratchbuilt buildings to fill one tile!

In the background you can see my living room view of sunrise over lake Vättern.

Loving the new buildings, and the story behind the Lodge is just begging to be stolen borrowed....

Great work.

Thanks!

It is cold, last morning it was -13°C (8.6°F), my car coughed and sputtered a while before it started. Now, the lake outside has started to freeze over... I guess it's as bad (or worse) in Canada.

Here's today's view:

Hey, thanks Mason!

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so I'd just be glad if Upsheet Creek had a hall of oddities hiding something else...

Only -5 here in Winnipeg right now.  Although we are supposed to get 30cm of snow this weekend!

My city terrain collection continues to grow! This time it's a couple of buildings on a single base, once again inspired by Jan Lööf's pictures.

I've come to realise that I've gone from the ideal "larger terrain with playable interiors" to "smaller terrain that looks good, but might not make sense". I think it's a bit like old SNES games, where buildings were very much smaller on the outside than on the inside.

Finally, the art that inspired the build (from Lööf's "Djur" (="Animals"))

Nice work, sir.
I like the style that you have adopted for them, very consistent.
(And very much like the example illustration too!)

Lovely.

I like the window effect.

Thanks, Ultravanillasmurf!

I like it too - it's very easy and fast to do!

Great stuff  :)

Thanks, James!

I used your formula for the roof on the tallest building (medium grey + green/brown wash, drybrush with a bluish grey) and I'm so happy with the result!

Nice work, sir.

Wonderful work, I love all the bright colors.

It does seem to have a beautiful European quality.

By the way, we got the 30 cm of snow :(

Thanks, Z!

I am very fond of those colours, myself. Who says that sci-fi must be gritty?

Very nice feedback! I saw your Shia Khan on Instagram, by the way (on #15milminis), and those were ace!

Thanks, Michael! Sorry to hear about the snow, we've still got snow here (and lake Vättern keeps on being frozen), but I'm longing for spring!

About that European quality, I've been inspired by real life Stockholm and Copenhagen - both with the colour choice and the building style.
