Thanks all for the good comments.

The transport vehicle build is more or less finished now so it will be on to painting.
Before that, as I said at the beginning of this thread:-

“The idea I have is not fully realised at the moment but basically it is to build as many vehicles for my Chinese as I can, in the two months of this competition.”

I have started the next thing.
This is an idea I have had for a while and I managed to get a loan of a soldering iron last night. So I was desperate to seeing if it would work. ;D

I have seen there are a few other people doing this so I thought I would add to the Fun (groan) ;)

Can you guess what it is yet…(in a an Australian accent, with the sound of didgeridoos in the back ground)

Nar - it's a gazebo for 28mm VSF Chinese picnics.

Very nice vehicle Colin. Am looking forward to seeing it painted. Should be spectacular.  :)

But surely they're going to be launched by Chinese firework? Especially since we've just had bonfire night!

I love your soldering jig.  I'll definitely keep that in mind if I find myself soldering in the future.

An update on the Kite men
Rockets built and all fitted together.

Started using green stuff for straps and a sort of backpack for the kite/rocket

Finished building the Rocket kites.
All the green stuff straps and packs finished.

Bases done and now ready for painting and adding the material to the wings.
