Here's the painted crane and wall section  :D Rather pleased with the crane paint job, thank god for Humbrol matt sprays.

And here is another little neff I've been working on. Same body as the Admirals launch but this is only armed with machine guns.

With any luck I'll have this, the armoured gunboat and the gunnery platform finished tomorrow and then I might do a six ship fleet review  :D

cheers

Oooohhhh! That's pretty special!! :o :o :o

Your picture, fourth one down, if you hide the room corner in the background, looks like a real life 1:1 scale crane!!!

That kit will be a good seller for you! Your pilot boat looks cast, are you starting to sell them too?

Nice work on the wall and crane.

Will you be selling the resin casts to make up the small nef?

Thanks chaps  :)

The small neff is from a mould I made at uni (about 12 years ago) and its gone the way of the dodo but I am working on another one that will be slightly different and when it's ready to go it'll go in the catalogue  :)

Really got the building bug at the moment  :D The neff docking station is even going to come out of hiding...

cheers

Jim,
Based on Andy's comment can we expect the crane to be available?  It looked like it is a laser cut kit prior to painting so I am hopeful.  If so, I will put it on my list along with your very nice Victorian warehouse for an order later this year.

I think the general consensus is the crane needs to go into production.  ;)

I think the man has a point!

Wonderful stuff, James!
The crane has enough written about it already, nothing I can add that has not been said already.

The brickwork and overall effect on the wall needs a mention too, great work and weathering.
Excellent!

Right then gents, crane it is  :D

More pictures of recent (and not so recent) works.

First off a small entrance into New Victoria, it needs vaulting and the rear surround putting on.

And then we have a connecting walkway between the walls and the neff docking station.

And now we have the aforementioned docking station 'attached' to the walls

And in these ones there is the inclusion of a little cargo neff that I started a while ago.

The docking station has been in the same state for a long long time now but I reckon that's going to change  :) I think it will have the same stone detail on the bottom slope and then probably stucco for the rest, although saying that, stonework all the way up might look rather stonking  :D

I've run out of resin though so no more merlons for a while  :(

Anyway, I'm going to make some Robin hood terrain now as I keep getting pestered  ;D

cheers

I'm worried about the scale of this project. I think your walls and docking station needs to be a a lot bigger.  lol

Seriously, that thing is huge!  :o
What a fantastic project!  :-*
I really like the crane and nefs!
