For some of you finishing a piece of terrain, especially a piece this small, isn't a big deal... but for me this is a landmark point as it's the first piece of terrain I now own :D

Hopefully the longer wall will be done tomorrow, or wednesday now I've got the recipe down.

Oooh...I like that!
Nice colours and great scenic work.
Lovely.

Looking forward to the rest of it.

Thanks! A bout of insomnia has allowed me to nearly finish the other cleaned up wall. Hopefully piccies tonight after I cover up a small flaw in the plastic that I spotted just after I finished sticking on all the grass *face/palm*

TaDa! Here's Necromancer Ned* frolicking in the graveyard with it's second wall now in place.

Love that stonework!

Me too!

Anywhere that idyllic-looking should be shut down immediately.
It must be suspect!

I love this project!
The walls look great.
I like, like lot of people, the cult leader.

Thanks guys. The walls were pretty easy to paint once all those damn skulls were gone. It was a couple of layers of drybrushing lighter shades of the base sandy colour, followed by some selective washes of Gryphonne sepia and a bit of the MIG slime weathering wash. The trickiest part were the flowers!

And well done for getting rid of those bloody skulls!
Exactly what I would have done.
Bloody things ruining a perfectly decent bit of kit.

Getting rid of the skulls on the large gateway (not painted yet) demanded a few blood sacrifices as there are so many of the dratted things

Promising!
Next time, what about pushing back in time to the 18th century, when the Invisible College can enlist the help of the 2nd League of Extraordinary Gentlemen?

Lots of different time periods is certainly something I'd like to investigate, especially once I've got some generic monsters :)

Last night I managed to get a nice run on the painting and finished a couple more bits of the graveyard

I also just spotted the news that Warlord have just picked up the license to produce 28mm versions of the Dad's Army characters. Those will be perfect for SA!
