Well, that's a very good question...

I already own a sizeable sengoku army. I have always been interested in the Boshin war, so much that I contacted the Perry brothers about the subject and even considered the idea of creating my own branch when Roku set out his. Problem is that I have been unemployed for 2 years now and it seems that's going to be a permanent feature in my life, so I can't afford to buy any more miniatures (or clothes, or food at this rate). I only own the three initial Bac Ninh miniatures packs, and I'm working on my own 1:3000 models of the ships involved in the war, but I fear that's anything I'll ever have unless a miracle happens - and we all know how frequent miracles are.

That is a complete mistery  . I remember buying it second hand from someone from Spain, but that's it.

BTW, Why is there no one selling affordable tengu? the kensei one is horribly overpriced!

Bushido either has or soon will have their own Tengu options

This guy has some tengu. I bought the tengu and a few others.

They do have them. Just picked up a bunch for the local campaign. However they are not any more affordable than Kensei's offerings.
