Hello
Nobody is interesting by this period !!!!  :'(

Don't feel bad - I post pics of Nap figures, and get almost no response. I think this section is just ... different.

I think your idea is good; as long as there is a Tom Cruise model, how bad could it be?  :D

An interesting area deserving of more coverage. I look forward to Jimbibbly's input. Do not be disheartened JBB. There are a few of us out there with more eclectic tastes in periods...

The period has a great opportunity for an exotic and colorful tabletop. The use of obsolete edged weapons and ancient body armor sprinkled throughout formations with the contemporary technologies of high explosives and rifles. This violence backdropped by the beauty of Japanese architecture, and all fought holding a strict sense of duty, honor, and love of nation [by both sides]!

This is an underestimated genre of wargaming my friends!

You are right David, I hope that my Boshin War range can help to let people know this conflict.

It is a really exotic period and very interesting, IMHO, in an skirmish level. With some more figures and the buildings from Oshiro Models, the period will be a MUST.

And Tom Cruise, please  :D.

Tom Cruise no but French officer Jules Brunet yes.
The last samurai is a movie on Satsuma rebelion and not Boshin war.

I am very interested in this period. Got no money to invest in a new period atm.

Can we get a Tom Cruise model just to piss Jim Bibbly off.
