Pack animals & hellhound or two
« on: 11 May 2017, 12:36:42 PM »
Some pack animals from Foundry, should be suited for all sorts of historical and fantasy games:

Two hellhounds from Pathfinder/WhizKids, spotted these at a LGS. Nice and easy! Prefer the clear plastic to the Reaper ones which are kinda muddy.

The Beasts of Burden are BEAUTIFULLY painted; as is that brave Fellow confronting the Invisible Hell Hound. OUTSTANDING WORK!
I never saw an Invisible Hell Hound before. Wow! Now I can see invisible creatures...no huh?

Great work on the pack animals.  I have a pack camel I've been meaning to paint up...you've inspired me! :D

Great paintbrush, CONGRATULATONS!   ;)

I've painted that Pathfinder hounds with a cheap green glow-in-the-dark paint, a very nice spooky surprise effect in a RPG table! lol

Nice minis! Isn't it "blink dog"  thought?

Thanks guys! dinohunterpoa, I thought about using a wash or something, but having tried that on some Reaper 'see-through' minis, the results were discouraging. Although like I said the material Reaper used was inferior to this in my opinion. might work better on these, but I decided to leave them as is.

I guess you're right midismirnoff, technically they're blink-dogs or something, but it said hellhounds on the label I think? There was a picture of these painted in black and red on the reverse side of the blister, so that would be more like hellish dogs. But then you wonder what's the point of casting them transparent? I'll just use them as is, nice and quick.

Of course, just go ahead with that pretty stuff. I was just ranting morose d&d philology.  ;)

Wow the dogs look great without paint don't they. I may get a couple of packs and experiment with a thin wash of blue.

First time I have seen transparent miniatures, apart from a slime/jelly.
