Wargames Shops in Paris - Help
« on: 11 September 2017, 12:57:35 PM »
Hi guys, i'm going to stay in Paris for some time and i wanted to know if anyone can point me some of the best wargaming shops in Paris. Games Workshop shops are ok, but i wanted smaller places, were maybe i can find some older minis (long shot i know). I'm going to stay in the Pigalle area and most of the time i will be in the Marais.

I don't want shops that have just a few wargaming material and mostly traditional models.

Hi there,
until someone with more info/knowledge come there, here are some shops selling games (cardgames, boardgames and miniatures).I don't live in Paris (15km to the south west) and don't usually go in real shops (I buy from others -gamers or websites). I don't think there is "traditional models shops"(Heller/Tamya/Airfix/Italieri ?)  with a bit of wargaming products but more "boardgames and miniatures games with a bit of modelling stuff" shops. Enjoy your stay !
Never heard of any "Games Workshop" selling some kind of miniatures ::)  lol
STARPLAYER (went there at least 2 times) website google map location
TROLL2JEUX website google map location
JEUX DECARTES website google map location
L'OEUF CUBE website google map location
UCHRONIES GAMES (opened this summer) website google map location
WAAAGH TAVERNE website google map location

LUDIKBAZAR used to be  a great shop (I went there many time when I was studying because it was 1 subway stop away from my university) but it closed, they still have a website and they had many miniatures range (more than the usual miniatures games you can find almost everywhere : Warmachine, Infinity or Flames of War)

If you visit any of these, please let us know what were your experience (I may live nearby but I'm not the kind of guy who plays outside my home/friend's home)

If you stay long enough to visit Versailles (and you should) and its palace/park, try Les Fous du Roy. Easy ride from Paris with the RER C, just follow the yellow lane (not talking about the hundreds of asian tourists  lol).
