These are great! I wanted to paint up some hero clix but I wasn't sure how well they'll turn out, now I know. You just primed and painted?

Yeah, I just scraped off the mould lines, undercoated them black and away I went. Some of the pre-painted surfaces can be a bit shiny and might need two coats to cover properly, but it doesn't lose any detail on them.

That was a problem with a couple of them (Arachne especially) as they had very little detail there in the first place.

My answer?

Exagerate your highlights and effectively paint in the detail that's not really there. Not a perfect solution, but it seems to work.

Your exaggerating the highlights worked for me! I think they turned out Super!
