Review and panting old NSL ships from GZG

I finished up my test paint schemes for my old school Neu Swabian League ships from Ground Zero Games and wrote up a blog post.

Yeah, the NSL is an awesome fleet. Bought and painted mine almost 20 years ago I think. Loved the designs right away and still do. Yours look really cool, the dark colours match them very well. Are you going to paint the bases and stands? The brass stands out a lot, I think they will look better in black.

For Full Thrust the NSL felt a bit overpowered, especially with vector movement. For most games I needed a little thrust to get going in the right direction and then just rotate and blast away. The heavy armour and strong armament meant most opponents stood no chance at all.
