I just wanted to show my two mega bloks ships. I converted them using mostly hot glue and popsicle sticks:

Great job on the ships.
Do you have crews painted for them?

Hi,
so many replies:

MegaBloks make Lego-like toys with but bigger pieces. The ships the do for their pirates of the carribean are quite OK for 28-30mm minis. click to see the german amazon site selling the second of my ships.

Sorry, no WIPs.
But I will try to just tell you what I did:
First assemble the hull of your ship. You will discover that there is no level surface but the pit in the middle will stop you from putting too many minis on to the ship.
I used 3 mm plywood and jigsaw to fill in the blank and level everything up. Then I used clippers to get rid of lego like "dots" and prepare planking the now somewhat level surface with stirsticks of "the two golden arcs". I glued the sticks on with hot glue. Try no to have the gaps between the stirsticks be too big and not to have crossing junctions.
Afterwards I spray the whole thing black and paint it with acrylics.

Thats abaout it.

Greetings GS

Not yet. I will use it for Warmachine/Hordes first.

Greetings

I am also putting together some mega bloks ships for warmachine/hordes! I haven't decided if I will make them iron kingdoms looking or not.
