A strange meeting on the Obersalzberg... (new pics 1/4/07)

From Allied Intelligence.

We have reason to believe one of Hitlers personal aids, known as "Totenkopf", has been given the task of personally managing several of the so called Wunderwaffen (Wonder weapons).

This person is a master in management and it is our fear he will bring these weapons online much sooner than expected.

We suggest further paying off several of our men in Germany to make sure they keep stalling those projects with red tape.

Some nice photoshop work.

A few suggestions.

Totenkopf's shadow is at the wrong angle compared with the others in the scene. Also, the lighting on him seems to be coming from straight ahead or even right/straight ahead, when the scene lighting is from high and to the left of the scene. His black areas are also a bit too dark compared with other areas in shadow or black on the image.

Otherwise, some very nice work. You've emanaged to get the scale right and blend the figure in well with the photo.

Yeah, I was having some quick fun in between postings.

Which makes me realise (now) that I have completely missed posting what I was supposed to post here in the first place, the model :D

The Red Skull aka Totenkopf

At least, thats what I think he is called. I'm not that greatly into all aspects of Pulp, not to mention Comic book characters yet, so there.

Custom 20mm model, made with the body of one of Elhiems SS officers with a Elhiem Skelly dolly skull as a head. Slightly repositioned the legs for a more casual walking pose. Uniform was supposed to be black with highlight....I think I took a wrong turn somewhere, but he's ok.

Blue tabs, all of my villains have them :), and the medical profession seemed like the right place for him.

Johan

(still wondering if I will ever get to a more "jump in your face"-style opposed to my quite drab (colourwise) that I have now...oh well)

++Edit++ He has a sigarette in his hands, but that is never really that clearly visible. Someone noted it looked a lot like a remote controller device so I think I will call it that from now on :D ++Edit++
