I would glue them to a magnetic sheet and embed magnets (check polarity) in the building.

Frank, any particular Thingiverse author for the accessories? The big fuel tank and the tyres are of interest. I have the fuel pump now as well as some I got in metal from 1st Corps (IIRC).

If you follow the link in my original post you can download the sheet I made. I just grabbed images from the internet and made some myself in Photoshop, then weathered them. They are just glued to thin card and glued in place.
