Can they be used for WW1 or interwar period?

I mean Wargames Atlantic french can be used for both wars

Of course you should not use the mas 36 rifle..

They can be used but not accurate for webbing, packs, and LMGs. Most folks wouldn't notice...

The rifles themselves are also not too accurate, no Lebel in sight

But berthier were also used in ww1

The Berthier was used in sizeable quantities, but it was still very much outnumbered by the Lebel, especially in the earlier phases of the war.
