I used some of the plastic paras to make additional paras to supplement my age of glory paras and the plastic USMC set with a couple packs of MAS 36s from the assault group to make sort of generic French infantry. I've also found warlord chindits work well for indochina if you use heads in kepi and slouch hats

You could mix american uniforms and british webing.
