Since I finally finished Shadowcat, I though I might place a larger update.
Many of these models have been painted for a while, but I hadn't taken the time to upload yet
Thor I tried to get into old-fashioned colours as much as possible. I chose not to paint the tiger stripes he sometimes had on his boots

Doc Ock was still painted using the Sorastro's tutorials. Haven't been using them for a while. They where very valuable...

Lizard I remember enjoying. I'm very pleased with the water effect. The only thing I'd change on him now, is I no linger use real mettalics on the base, so I'd change the sewer lid. I wasn't as sure about my NMM back than, so I used it on the mini's only and was okay with metals on objects on the base. AMG started including those elements in the models themselves more and more so I switched that too.

She-Hulk was rather easy. I enjoy the character in the comics.

Hulk was never one of my favourites, but I found I do enjoy blending colours on large bulky muscles

And Kitty Pryde, Ariel, Sprite, Shadowcat and her faithfull space-dragon Lockheed. She has always been a favourite, indeed.
My first comic was the collected limited series Kitty Pryde and Wolverine and it's still an amazing read as I re-read it just before finishing the model.
Kitty was about the same age as I when I started reading comics, so her and the new mutants made a big impact on me. I was daunted by the sentinal arm. I still have two Sentinels to paint and I keep putting it of, as much as I like the look of my finished sentinel Prime.
Kitty and Lockheed herself were pretty straithforward. I enjoyed painting a bit more details on Lockheeds wing, which I never did before.
