Lords and Servants, by Dadi & Piombi (Impetus), might fit the bill. I bought the rules a while back but have yet to play. They look very interesting, though. Here's a positive review by Delta Vector. You can get the print rules on Amazon or the PDF from Wargames Vault.

The game can be played in small, medium and large formats; small would fit the bill for your chosen number of figures (although you would have more if you went all in on lightly armed militia or something).

I have played many skirmish wargames rules over the years and my absolute favourite is John Lambshead´s "One Hour Skirmish Wargames". While this set came a few years ago and is focused on games involving firearms, he just released a medieval version. The game system only uses ordinary playing cards instead of dice in a very clever way that gives a lot of depth and a game that flows quickly without having to consult a lot of tables. The typical number of figures per side is 5-15. There is also a busy facebook group which gives great support on questions. Highly recommended!

Looking for some skirmish games that have sides of only 10-15 models. I think Baron’s War and the new Ruckus game are in this range, correct?

You are quite correct concerning Ruckus which requires 12 figures to form a Retinue. It is written for small scale skirmishing on a table 3x3 or 4x4. It is a narrative based scenario driven game with Character development through a simple Campaign game system. https://wilgut.blogspot.com/2024/04/heres-ruckus.html
I have a bad case of prescient nostalgia. The future's not what it used to be.

Melee, the combat component of The Fantasy Trip RPG, would work quite well for 10–15 figures a side skirmish.

I played that one to death as a kid.  archers shielded behind a few tanks were nigh unstoppable. had i had miniatures back then, i would probably still use it, the rules were pretty good…far better than D&D rules at the time.

En Garde! is meant for Renaissance through say early 1700s, primarily designed for the Musketeers/Man in the Iron Mask/etc.

However, it will work with some small tweaks for Dark Age through late Medieval (namely reworking shield rules a little for earlier periods).  It is overall a good, small scale, system with plenty of character.

FFoL, and particular the Might and Melee book have largely replaced it for me.  I prefer the card activation system and less messing with the plus/minus of the various stats.  That said, if you've played Ronin it is a perfectly adequate system, cheap, and easy to dream up a force from nothing.

It does have an appendix with some fantasy elements as well if you want to include something a bit more Solomon Kane to your games.
