Thanks for the kind words.

Another week, another update.

I’ve added the final details to the corridor, including doors, power relays, and display screens. With that, the main corridor is complete.

Some familiar faces.

I had to realign the steps in the engineering room after noticing the door didn’t match up with the one in the corridor. I also added an information display to the console screen—think Star Wars safety features for the steps and Star Trek LCARS design for the console!

The crew lounge and officer's quarters are now finished.

Finally, the crew bathroom is complete. The blue boxes are "Sci-Fi Cryo Chambers," repurposed as futuristic combination toilet-and-shower units. The concept was inspired by a fun conversation with a 10-year-old about how aliens might 'poop' and clean themselves  lol

All that's left to do is to finish painting 3 sets of bunks, add some more posters and to paint the lines on the lower hull. Fingers crossed, it should be done by this time next week.

Very nice work and Holly is a nice touch.

Great work; the ship is really coming alive with all of the additions. I'd stay away from chairs for now though; they'll only get in the way of your games. Also, in the future everybody remains standing while working. Sitting is the new smoking, and all that...

...Star Wars safety features for the steps...
So you mean to say none?  ;)

Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Here’s the weekly progress update on the Rebel Transport. The final major task, the crew quarters, is now complete.

Added some lockers to the cargo deck and managed to source a 3D-printed replacement hatch. Once it arrives, I'll start planning an access ramp for both the crew and cargo. This will require raising the ship by about an inch, so I'll need to consider how best to approach that.

Love the Red Dwarf screen.

You might appreciate this then!

Couldn’t locate Cat and Rimmer—they might be off adventuring in the Starbug!

I took some pictures with the LED lights on and the upper hull attached. There’s not a lot of space for gaming (or a camera phone)!

Lastly, this project drew inspiration from a classic boarding action scene featuring our favourite Imperial soldiers.

That’s a great looking model! The action shots with the model closed are very appropriate - it wouldn’t be Alien if it weren’t claustrophobic…
