Another fun AAR and a big surprise that the opportunity to "drive a truck through it", in this case zombies, was avoided! Kudos for using the term dime store. I haven't heard that in probably 50 years. Ah, and the Mad Lord's carefree colorful attitude...... lol lol lol

A blast of a read! Don't apologize for the text -- that's the fun part of the AAR. We can look at pretty pictures anywhere, but nothing beats a Vaggers account of a game.  :-*

Enjoyed it immensely...more than the guys Lian employs did...!

Loverly set-up.  Lack of "wrenches in the works' planning aside.  Speaking of which, here are some ideas, many of which I'm sure someone of your intellectual prowess has already considered...

A.  Of course, the coppers can always try to get in someone's way.  Whose way depends on the financial opportunities presented to the coppers....

B.  The car park attendants.  Maybe overseeing their clients' rides isn't their only source of income, or amusement, for that matter.

C.  Maybe that paper boy ain't just a paper boy.  Maybe he could be the source of news not printed in his wares.  Mind you, that news need not be accurate...

D.  Those chaps duking it out in Dragon Square Park could be persuaded to set their differences aside, and duke it out with members of the assorted gangs going about their business.

E.  Perhaps their prey didn't just buy one apartment block.  Perhaps she secretly bought another, and flits between the two.

F.  Have the Feds and/or the State Police show up.  They could distract any or all of the actors in play here...Doug's, the Good Lord's, or even some of the NPCs...

G.  Old derelict buildings tend to catch fire.  It'd be a shame if one caught fire while someone was in it, wouldn't it...?  And The Good Lord himself only knows what would happen if one of those factories/plants went up...

That's it for now.  I'll chime in if I think of any other clever ideas...

Those are good ideas! I think F is a good wild card as the local police, state police and Feds fight over jurisdiction.

I'm enjoying all the world building that's going on in this game.

Well, thanks for the report.  Which is really all I can say; zombies are very much not my thing, just don't get the interest.  :o   But if the players enjoyed, that is what matters.  ;)

We?ve gone zombie crazy??!

This "report"? Nothing but a pack of fantasy. No mention of the forensic planning of Sam "The Ice Man" Snow - how he rescued the two-bit broad from the Zeds and organised the get-away, despite being shot by her low-life hoods. How he drew the pack of zombies away from Ice-Pick Kirk and enabled that second-rate bruiser to escape.

One day, the truth will be told. Until then, stay away from dames with gats. Comprendez?

 :D

What's wrong with dime stores, Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett who write my source material on American gangster history refer to them all the time.  ;) besides the game is set in the early 30's when we were all young. lol

You shouldn't be too hard on them,  it didn't really track the way they thought it would.  ;)

Thank you Mike, but are you saying I don't provide pretty pictures.  :D

I'm enjoying all the world building that's going on in this game.

Fifteens I was going to take it in a different direction but Snappers and Dougers have got into zombie games at the moment and I thought it would take them by surprise,  which I think it did.  lol

Well worth the read.

Thank you,  that's much appreciated.

Somehow I missed all that,  most pay more attention next time.   lol lol lol
