10mm Star Wars for OPR's GDF

I recently took advantage off a very good sale offer by Richard at ROK Minis(a very good 3d printed mini vendor) and bought a load of 10mm Wakes Emporium GMO (not Star Wars) minis.

I was inspired to collect these to play Bob Wray's adaptions of GDF for multibased smaller figures.  These can be found on Facebook 'Tiny Battles of the Great Crusade (OPR).

As you can see I have multi-based these minis as Clones and Droids from the Clone Wars.  I am just waiting for the vehicles to be available soon.  Richard has the STLs but not released the yet.

So enjoy the pics, first the Clones.

Unfortunately whilst I have hundreds of minis to paint, which I am doing, I have run out of the Flames of War bases i am using, so basing will be delayed for a month or so.....unless you want to see WIP minis

Droideka's I believe, although also wheel droids, destroyer droids or 'big clankers!'. They all look pretty great. It can be difficult to get models at that scale to look like anything much but you have definitely painted some great droids and clones - lots of detail and personality there. Great work and looking forward to seeing more of them.

Thanks Louie, I have a stash of them in a lock up in Portugal which I will collect soon but in the meantime I have ordered some of EBay, however I am at work overseas (where I do most of my painting) so the unbased ones will have to wait until the next time I am at work.

Wow, that's getting to be a serious collection. They look good.

wow.

They look great. I remember having a crack at 10mm SW years ago. I think there might be some micro machine or action fleet vehicles that would work well in that scale. 

Then again it might be easier and cheaper to just to print what you want these days
