10mm (not) Star Wars
« on: 07 November 2023, 07:50:23 AM »
I picked some 3D prints from ROK Minis at SELWG show last month and they are stunning.  The STLs are from Wakes Emporium.

I have painted up the first batch of Battle Droids.  Please remember these are 10mm lol and they have great!

If you download an image manipulator you can resize them to the suggested 1000 pixel width for LAF.

GIMP is completely free and is more than adequate. In fact it's got loads of functions I've never even used, but as well as resizing I often use it to adjust colour balance and brightness for example.

Although it is completely free, it's always nice to make a little donation to support the folks who develop and constantly update this and other free ware, you'll see the link whan you download :)

Also you seem to have ended up with PDFs rather than JPEG files.

The figures do look good - slightly surprised you’ve gone with single basing - one of my gaming friends has just done a big Clones vs Droids Star Wars game, all 3d printed in 10mm, but has multi-based the infantry for that.

Roger Roger.

They are tiny but cool. Great (but small) work!
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

I have just learnt how to make them JPGs which I will do for the next batch.

The single basing is done because I am not sure what rules I am going to use, what did your friend use?  If I need to I will buy some sabot bases.

I don't dabble in 10mm but I'm impressed by the amount of detail on these,

Lovely job… nice looking prints and great PJs  8)

As that great LAF philosopher REDZED once said “there is only one true scale”…I think he was referring to 28mm… but these days I’d like to think we can interpret that as “legion scale” aka 35mm plus … but for a heretic, your teeny weeny minis special  8)
