WIP - 28mm Victorian police station (on the small side)

Hi all,

I've been putting together a small Victorian police station for a VSF game and thought I'd post a build thread as requested by some of the chaps on the VSF board. It's based on a Skaledale station waiting room but works as a small clink.

This is the easy 10 minute bit, putting the frame together with 5mm foamboard:



Then I added the angled supports for the roof. I noticed that the roofs on many late Victorian buildings have quite a shallow angle:



Then it's the roof on with some thin plastic sheeting and a styrofoam chimney breasts (brickwork embossed in Overlord style):




Then it all started to get a bit fiddly. The brickwork is embossed plastic sheets from Antenociti's in a Flemish Bond pattern. The window frames are also from Antenociti's Grandt Line range. The window sills and lintels are cut from thin plastic sheeting. The roof tiles are made from embossed paper and is getting harder to get hold of (much thanks to Skrapwelder for re-stocking me). Finally the door is good old balsa:



Here's the business end of the building. I'm going to re-do the cell bars as they've started to subside a bit. Serves me right for sticking them straight on to the foam:

Then a paint job. The lamp is from Langley Models:





There's still a few more bits to be done so I'll post a pic when its finished.
