We always play any dice that he (or his side) rolls...that said, as it is written it would seem that you could use it on ANY dice. Guess I'd better step up my game!

I've sort of read it as any dice rolled that effected the wearer of the hat either by him/her/itself or the otherside.

i'm sort of with lupus,

we play it so that the roll affected must have an effect on the hats actual wearer. even rolls by the other side so long as 'hattie' is affected, but not rolls for his own side that do not affect him/her.
