really, i'm dying to find some wwii maps, but it looks that is impossible to find them online for me...

and the web page for "The Battle for Carentan" which has a few maps and from which the top one is from ; http://www.history.army.mil/books/wwii/utah/utah5.htm which is the US Army History Department so plenty of goodies.

Wikipedia is worth a try too, but I've noticed how a lot of entries don't make it to languages other than English, a lot of ww2 ones which are reasonable to good in English aren't as detailed in German, or vice versa, or there's errors in one or the other. Not sure how true that might be for Italian entries, if you can bear it try searching for English written entries.
