Million-dollar question...
« on: 12 February 2012, 11:20:28 AM »
Mark Copplestone's name appears on the list of credits for miniatures in the Warhammer 3rd Edition rulebook. What did he actually sculpt for Citadel way back then? Really keen to find out!!

Have a look at the catalogue scans on solegends.com. On some pages he is mentioned by name, on others he is lumped together with the `Citadel Design Team`.

I'm not sure he actually did all that many Warhammer Fantasy sculpts, but I might be wrong. I think most of his work was for 40k, and he was credited in the book as a member of the team.

I'm quite interested as well. I know about his guardsmen and he also did a number of space marines (most notably the Rogue Trader chaplains) 8)

He did the Blood Bowl 2nd edition humans also. Don't know if he did any WHFB-models.

He did a few fantasy, namely:

Battle Lord and Retainers:

Note: If you have lord or his underlings, go directly to the PM button and send a message promising them to me (jthomlin), and for the sake of everything holy, do not tell anyone else! :D

(yeah, they are somewhat rare ...)

Cheers!
