Vietnam figures and FNG2
« on: 04 April 2012, 09:42:41 AM »
I recently recieved my PDF for "two hour wargames" FNG2 ruleset.
I havnt had a lot of time to go through them thoroughly yet,but as a terrain freak,I went straight to that section.
It is full of great detail,as is the rest of the rule set,if my first quick read is anything to go by.

By the way,I have been looking at pics in various 'Nam films and books and have noticed that Vietnamese people at the time were far shorter and much more slightly built than their American visitors........I would like to ask if you guys who buy figures for the war look out for that when buying figures, or does the old "if a figure is 2mm shorter than another,I wont buy it"   mentality hold for this war too?  :?

I think, to be honest, that most Nam figures come in two sizes as a given.  Check out most manufacturers, their pictures will reflect that they have done this automatically.
'So do all who see such times. But that is not for us to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that we are given.'

You would think so, but I'd put money on there being at least one range that doesn't.  ;)
