I've never seen a blood splat done like that before. Ingenious.

Great to see some different figures too. Are those Austro-hungarians?

Capt., those are A-H WWI types, I'm slowly building forces for the Italian front between other projects.

Great special effect with that blood splat. VB consistently impresses me, as I point out from time to time over on WD3.

I really like the paint job, but even painted that good the Scarab KuKs are comical for me.

Deja Vu Abu as we talked about on WD3 lol
Really nicely done Abu

Thanks Richard - the blood isn't difficult but the most important requirement for a scene like this is a dog ???........

.........The dog chewed a soft toy to bits, the filling with a little wash added is the smoke
The blood splatter is a small piece of stiflor with a few dog hairs added to give greater length and a tiny drop of superglue added on the end (learned from barry Scarlett on WD3). Paint red to taste

Maybe I should have called it Llewelyn's charge because that's the dog's name!
I cannot pretend to feel impartial about colours. I rejoice with the brilliant ones and am genuinely sorry for the poor browns. - Winston Churchill

VB, kind of funny to see us squaring off again.

P: Thanks, though I know that some find Scarab stuff a bit cartoonish; but for some reason I like it in this range. Must be the huge mustaches...
