MERCS USCR with head swaps

Held off buying these boys 'cause the pea-head helmets didn't quite do it for me. Then I stumbled across some MaxMini heads on eBay and had a miniature epiphany.

Some X-acto and Dremel work, fast & dirty pjs and now we're rolling.






Can't get an angle on the shouty face. But it works.

I really like all of them except for the Behemoth (but that could just be the angle).  I love MERCS and can't wait for House 4 to be released at GenCon.

i like the PJ and the Headswaps but i'm not very fond of the Minis themselves  That Guy with the raised Legs looks very odd,what is he doing? 

never tried the Mercs Game though i like those Japanesque faction with the Dome Helmets

I just got a set of those heads for a different project.  They are very nicely sculpted.  Great conversion and nice paint job!

Field Goal Guy? He's supposed to be kicking in a door. I think. And yes, I think the Keizai Waza (sp?) are very cool. I'm not satisfied with the pjs on mine but love the figs.

Tried the game several times. Great ideas but too fiddly for me, including the card-based movement. It's easy enough for me to employ the figs in other rule sets or house rules.
