Made some log MG-bunkers after this really nice tutorial http://fieldsoffireonline.freeforums.org/tutorial-log-mg-bunker-t1766.html

Anyway, they turned out like this.





The miniature is a 28mm one.

Who makes the first Volkssturm guys? They are pretty good, though in all honesty the civilian look more like the archetypical French resistance fighters or some members of Tito's army. The English or Russian equipment looks a little bit off, as do the caps.

Don't get me wrong, they are well done and I don't mind them looking that way at all. I'm just curious.

No problem, I agree with you ;)

They are old Bolt Action miniatures by Paul Hicks, now labelled partizans by Warlord.
I only think a few of them are "proper" Volkssturm, the rest are meant to be french or soviet resistance.

But I think they work, tried to tone down some things on them but they aren't perfect.
