nuclear minis for BioSyndrome (WIP)
« on: March 25, 2014, 11:44:19 PM »
Some WIP shots of my .. power armored troops.. for my wargame / rpg system BioSYndrome. These will be available to select as an army, hopefully by v2.0. Obviously you can see vehicles here, rules for vehicles are in the project pipeline.

Tank needs highlights and accesories, troops need highlighting and basing, jet.. well needs lots of work still =)

And yes in case you are wondering, that is a paladin in that A-10 Thunderbolt.. mwhaha!

Still have a few days on the Kickstarter! More pictures coming soon! As always, open to feedback, suggestions and ideas.

A week back I pulled that very A-10 from under my bed.
Now you just tempt me to put it to use..

Lovely lot, though!
If you'd like an apocalyptic monster in 28mm, throw me a PM and I'll think it over.

Thanks, I think they are going to turn out quite nice. I'd like to add in a few more armies into the BioSyndrome rule book ("mega" mutants, raiders, and a few others) but lack the minis / funding to add anymore in. If anyone has an army put together already and wouldn't mind taking high res pictures of each miniature seperately with an odd color background I might be able to squeeze in those "sought-after" armies for any post nuclear pc game fans here :P

The A-10 is a great model, you will not be dissapointed Messyart! There are a lot of pieces, and if you want the canopy closed you'll have to do some minor modifications. Had to chop up a power armored soldier to get him in the cockpit too. The pictures don't do it justice here, the lighting was bad and I lack a light box. I'll post up some more pictures as I work on em.

I also have a bunch of neat terrain and a few other units.. I have a scribe, haven't painted him yet. Was thinking of adding him as a gunner to the tank. I'm really looking for some "knight" or "inniate" minis to go along with this army, I've scoured the fallout miniature thread already and haven't found quite what i was looking for. Open to suggestions.

 lol

I built the plane three years ago!
I also have a Comanche sat up on my display cabinet that has a lovely pair of Imperial Guard pilots that fit in wonderfully, but I don't feel it'd ever fit the theme.

Really can't decide what to do with the plane though. Terrain, weapon.. Eh.

Got a lot of work done on the A-10, posted some pics on fb but the lighting is so bad I'll spare you guys horriable pictures. I'll retake some later when I get a bit further on the details. Still looking for good "knight" minis for my brother hood army.

Well once i finish up the aircraft rules maybe you can use your A-10 and Comanche in a game of BioSyndrome! Would work great for a brother hood army list build.

still got around 20 hours left on the ol kickstarter.. almost through.. huff.. pant.. wheeze...

yes sir, stole it off a dead female survivor :P

The bases are from secret weapon. They are decent / work really well with toxic sludge

Here is an updated shot of the paladin's tank i'm working on. Still have to finish up the head lights..

Yeah, wanted my troops to come from the "glow" from the original games. =)

Got my patient zero in the mail yesterday! Again, i am no master painter or anything here, the mini was a pleasure to paint (and quite difficult with all those tentacles and odd angles). He turned out rather well, the mini is loose on a 25mm base, still waiting for my 40mm in the mail. Let me know what you think!
