« on: 27 July 2008, 02:29:29 PM »
Painted my first two Blue Moon Miniatures G-men:

Detective Oscar "Hotspur" Kuminski

Just joined the "Organized Crime Task Force". Fresh from Police academy. Eager to proof himself. A showoff. Best shot in the unit.

Detective Patrick "Daddy" O'Malley

Oldest and experienced member of the task force. Looks after the younger Cops.
Not willing to risk too much. Divorced. Likes to drink.

Hope you Guys like... 8)

Those are really nice.  :-*

"Daddy" wouldn't happen to be the only Irish cop in the world with a Scottish accent would he?  lol

I think he means is it meant to be Sean Connery in "The Untouchables?" It sure looks like him. I don't think Jolly Bob is suggesting you did anything wrong.

(Connery as usual didn't bother changing his Scots accent when he played the Irish cop in that film. In fact the only film I've ever seen Connery do an accent in is "The longest Day" when he does put on an Irish brogue.)

Sean Connery, the only actor who could get away with giving a Russian sub captain a Scots accent.....Gotta love the man :). I must have every movie he's ever made, yes I have Zardoz as well.

Lovely stuff and the best pics I have seen of Blue Moon figures. These show them to be very nice unlike their own promo stuff.
The bases are great also.

Sorry, yes, that is what I meant. It really is a good likeness of him.

Great paint jobs on those figures. I had almost dismissed the Blue Moon stuff, but with a decent paint job, they have come up well :)

Sean Connery- what about him playing an Egyptian/Spanard with a Scots accent in Highlander... Now that one has got to be the best lol
