Hello,
    I'm Eilif.  I'm joining up here following the lead of my friend PatrickWR, who indicated this is a place that appreciates odd, oop, and under-appreciated miniatures.  I'm also the organizer for Chicago Skirmish Wargames club.

My main focus is on generic and independent Sci-Fi and Fantasy games such as Song of Blades, WarEngine, Mech Attack, Panzer8 Sci-Fi.  I prefer 28mm for most gaming except for sci-fi mass combat where I use 10mm figures.  I really enjoy finding new games for older, oop, and less well known miniatures lines and am seldom happier than when I'm up to my elbows in a bin of old lead at a convention. 

I've been lurking for a bit now and it's clear that there's alot I can learn here.
