If its large 15 battlesuits you want then gashapon 1/300 should do the trick. I wish I could give you pictures but the one I ever bought was a gift for a now ex.

Titanfall is a good comparison of Hank in his 1/144 scale for 28mm.
For 15mm or even 28mm though i would like to see Hank half that size.
Scurv, thanks for the new pic. He is still a big boy but couldn't be a powered suit. A robot for sure, but still a bit big.
Dr. F has a great grasp on using bots or droids from other lines as i posted before.
Dijit, i agree with your conclusion as well, 1/144 is too big. BUT, Gundams are frickin huge and i expected as much even at 1/144.
Take a BT mech as mentioned above and put it into 1/144 scale. It would be a different size. To me MW Clix are not 1/144 scale. They work ok in 10mm - 12mm scale. Even the big boys i dont see work in 15mm for suits. Robots for sure. I personally like using the Targe, Raven, Mongoose and a few others for 15mm but i am stretching it a bit. The Blade is a new one i saw done on a BLOG that i think might get away as well. Need one in my collection. So now on the lookout for a couple.
as stated above, the old RAFM HG line can be great. Scopedogs have a great place. Inso loves them in 1/35 for his Grymn. I personally think that the 1/48 scale would be a better fit for that series. The 1/60 scale Scopedogs though too small for 28mms scale. But i can see them working for true 25mm or down to 15mm.
To each his won. All in the eye oft he beholder and all that jazz. Am i picky? LOL yeah a bit.
Still just waiting for someone to do Scopedogs in 1/100 scale to truly make me happy. They are doing it for Battletech mechs but cant get a sculptor for VOTOMs.
Eilif, I Have been enjoying Necro's stuff for years. I Know there is the 1/300 and 1/400 scale stuff. I wasn't specific. I meant was there figs like Hank in those scales. I dont much like the over the top anime Gundamns, more of a plain Jane type of person. As much as the Zaku is the mainstay and tons of peeps love em i am not a HUGE fan of them. I dont like the skirts or bellbottoms most of the series has in one shape or another. The things you all in Chicago bring to the table is pretty hot. If i was going to do a strictly Gundam game then easy peasy but it isn't what i am looking for.

I'm always on the look out for smaller mechs for 15mm, ones that look battle suit size, like from Appleseed, or 40K dreadnoughts or slightly bigger. It's a pity they never seem to put them beside anything that gives a sense of scale. 1/144 is fair enough, but if you don't know how big the damn thing is to start with its doesn't help that much. That's a long way round of saying thanks for the pictures! I now know 1/144 gundams are far too big.

If you want battlesuits, check out the 1/300 gundam comparison pics in the thread I posted earlier. http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/30/636827.page
The pics are a bit big, but it's worth waiting for them to load.

here is the smaller one

Hey Scurv, here is my recent acquisition. Each joint comes apart.
Mine seems to be missing the knife. Also though it isnt missing but a pinpoint or hardpoint is on the right shin for another armor piece.

Nope. No big gun. Only the one strapped to his arm. What ya see is what i got. Just a bit pissy the knife is missing. :-(
I see your big version has a big gun. Butt he smaller one you got doesn't. Or did you just leave it off for his mugshot?

By the way, just burbled this on TMP; no guarantees as to whether you'll find any locally. Also, assume just the US.

Walked into a local Barnes and Noble, and saw the clearance tables were down to 25% of original price. I always expect slim pickings, and wasn't far wrong, certainly compared to the last few clearance cycles.

However, I noticed a couple of versions of Gundams, Destiny and Freedom, I think, on the floor. They are 1/144, and described as 'palm models', but for $10 USD or less, might be of interest to the 15mm crowd as small walkers.

Not to me; I have a personal problem, a slight aversion to anthropomorphic vehicles, a serious issue as I'm also an anime junkie…

However, as you might assume from a cross-post to Spaceship gaming, the kit has a gajillion small parts, many that seem appropriate for kitbashing your own fleets.

I've seen some amazing things come out of these experiments, and think everyone who has a B&N close by should probably take a look.

Not the walking bricks, but might be useful for someone.
