I do own the Revell one and it is perfect for 28mm but again the crew are 1:72.

Interesting I have an unmade Revell viking ship, but there are no crew figures, just a ship.

That isn't one of the figures that I have. Mine were largely rowers.

Most of the crew in my box are, too - but I think (am at Work right now, so cannot check) there is 2x3 standing figures (the one shown with the *yikes* horned helmet, a helmsman, and a spearman on each of the 2 sprues).

I Wonder if my set has a newer, updated sprue of crewmen, after somebody pointed out to the manufacturer that the original ones were too small.
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

I just posted a pic of the assembled hull with a handful of GB plastic vikings on board on my blog: http://argonor-wargames.blogspot.dk/

Glue it to a piece of scribed balsa to show as an "underfloor"?

That 1:60 one would also work for 15mm too by the looks of it. I'm just embarking on a medieval Scandinavia project and they would be useful.

The Emhar 1/72 ship is said to be a nicer model (and without the 'cartoon' dragon prow) - I shall be looking out for one, myself, as I want some variation.
