18th Century Civilian Vignette
« on: 21 May 2016, 12:49:03 PM »
I painted this little group for my wife as a gift for Mother's Day (celebrated on a different day to you Northern hemisphere folk). I may go back and apply some gloss varnish to the furniture at some stage. I'm not entirely sure who made the figures - they are 28mm metal - although they do look like something Eureka Miniatures may have produced. I picked these up as part of a trade with a fellow wargamer. If you know who made them feel free to leave a comment & let us all know  :)

They're great, never seen them before, so have no idea who made them.

Great paint job. I thought these were Eureka top but I have just had a look on their site and they are not on it. I would agree that these figures are certainly in there style. I would like to know who makes them if a home else knows.

I think they are, in the civilians and vignettes category. The pics are small but I believe I can spot the tea drinking lad in "Ooh you are awful", the reader in "Captive audience", one lady in "Take your order sir" (not 100% sure) and so on. Maybe someone can gather a full list?

Definitely Eureka - even the dog (though the version I have of that sculpt looks more like a French Poodle). Nicely painted too.

Thanks for the kind words, & glad to see that someone knew where they were from  :)
I had a look at the Eureka site myself before I started the post, but couldn't see them in one group, it seems
they are scattered across a few sets then?
