Battle Of Circesium At Partizan
« on: May 23, 2016, 07:02:24 PM »
I have done an initial post on Partizan on my blog, it features Simon Millar and Phil Hendry's superb 3rd century Roman v Sassanids game which I was kindly asked if I would like to take a part in. There will be another post with some of the other games later.

Great looking game - 2 excellent period armies.  Appreciated the humour - always adds to the account.  Reminds me my Sassanids have been languishing for far too long.

This is one of those small things that may never be mentioned but that gaming board is fantastically well designed, both in terms of aesthetic and functionality.

But that aside, please, those figures - my various GODS they are amazing! beautifully painted! I have been umming and arrrrr'ing about getting some A & A miniatures but I think im going to go buy a boat load now..and then paint them to no level of beauty that these guys are.
