Greyjoy Raiders (Dragon Rampant)

A new project (one that, for once, I hope to complete) has started... Finally, after putting it off for ages, I've succumbed and started on a Game of Thrones force for Dragon Rampant - the mighty Greyjoys!

The first demi-unit is done and dusted: the Pyke Guard, a core of tough, defensively minded troops (Heavy Foot) to balance out the more aggressive Ironborn raiders.

Very nice, especially the octopi on the shields. The figures appear very in keeping with GOT.

Ooohh very nice!! They feel very Westerosi!! The idea about them all having a slightly different Kraken is done really well, and it works real good!

Really like those, I think they'll tie in with more Viking-esque raiders quite nicely!

I like them.
But I would have kept them closer to the raider theme.
Even if these guys are supposed to be the heavy infantry I would have given them less armour.
They just dont look like a unit that walks off a ship, know what I mean?
