I'd like an updated version of the Rafm 1885 NorthWest Rebellion, with figures that match current 28mm sized ranges.

I keep looking at morphing over British colonial infantry to represent Canadian militia but get hung up on differences in kit:  British infantry typically are armed with Martini-Henry rifles when the Canucks had Snider Enfields, Canucks favoured glengarry caps (neither Warlord nor Perry provide enough glengarries for a whole unit in their plastic infantry!).

Representing the Cree is a challenge, as the available Plains Indians never look quite right (not surprisingly as they are supposed to be Sioux or Commanche).  And the Metis aren't available:  I could try to use Boers but again they aren't QUITE right.

This is exactly what I would want - Louis Riel and the NW Rebellion. I'd be all over them if they were done by Perry or similar quality.

For my collection I'd like to commission the Perry's to make some proper mounted infantry for the Sudan, mounted on shaggy Egyptian ponies, along with Engineers busily building redoubts or making watering arrangements at the wells. Alongside those I'd love to see someone make the small  sailing boats, whalers I think they were (?) and then ask Perry's to model the Canadians who manned them while taking the troops up the Nile, along with models of their passengers and kit.

Naval crew figures Not naval infantry, but ship's crew. Helmsmen, gun crews, lookouts, "black gang," ammunition handlers etc. There are some available, but most are not up to current standards.

Ditto, but covering several eras and nationalities - probably Tudor to Victorian, including a few senior officers suitable for captains etc.
Most European crews would probably look very similar, but there should also be distinct Turkish/Barbary/Arab crews for slavers etc.
