Clamber, with a heart of steel! (BE) 11/10-16
« on: 17 July 2016, 10:49:30 PM »
Greetings and salutations all! Having finally picked up the Blood Eagle rulebook, I decided to chronicle my decent into the legendary Dark Ages on the forum. I plan to eventually do several warbands, but as a dane I had to do a Viking one first! Here are my first recruits.

Thanks!
The berserker is a kitbash, using parts from Warlords Hail Ceasar Celts for the body, a GB head and axe, and a hand swap from an old GW bretonnian.

"Cold is the ocean spray - your death is on it's way!"

Nice norsemen. The shields in particular are great, very striking!
Adventures? Nasty disturbing uncomfortable things! Make you late for dinner!

Thx guys!
So I finally had time to show off the beginnings of another warband, this time a gael one.

Hope you like 'em. Any advice or critique is always appreciated.

Love your mix-and-match approach to the plastic sets, I think it works nicely for both the Vikings and Gaels.  Neat geometric patterns on the Gaels' shields, too!

Looking forward to seeing more.

Hello again. So I Finally had some time to advance my decent into the Dark Ages. A buddy of mine and I have scheduled some Blood Eagle for the weekend and since he's bringing some Picts I thought I'd work up something complimentary. So I present my Remnants of the Ninth.

That's it for now. Hope you like 'em and any advice or critique is always welcome.
